How come the forum looks like no one is using it?

This is a common issue for forums. Ideally, everyone will log in, change their profile's notifications, so they are emailed when there is some activity. By design, if you don't make any changes to your notifications, you would have to keep logging in everyday and check, or make a post if you want. Some people like to read (consume) and some like to write (contribute). Depending on which are you, will dictate this forums activity.

It would be great if we all participated, but of course, we have busy schedule of the real life around us, so this is kind of a secondary thing in life. First, is our time with God, then family and friends near us, then if we are ok, we can use this forum. Thinking that we are always online is not realistic and I got offended in the past when others never posted much.

To me, it doesn't matter. This is just one extra tool, that we can use to keep in touch. As always, the best is to have real fellowship near you. If this forum is not available, hopefully, we have a way to reach each other because technology is not 100% online. This forum is pretty solid but at times, it does go offline. You can check the status if you go to www.proboards.com and if you are able to access that, then you should be able to also access this site/forum as well.
