You are given the option to change your login from username and/or email. Proboards recommends that you use only your email as this is more secure as the others will not know your email address. To check, change this settings, go to www.proboards.com/account/settings and change it to 'email' but remember when you login, you are not using your username but email. 
Public computers -
Use of this forum on a public location (library and/or other customer internet cafes). Remember to login out (sign out) and not simply close the browser. You don't want someone else, who is going to use your same computer to see/view/modify/hack/screenshot your personal information (like your profile and such). Please keep it secure. This is to help you.
Your password -
I, dominic, or other staff here (future admins/mods), and other members here will NEVER EVER EVER ask you for your password. Please do not fall for a trick. Their are two ways to access this forum. The custom domain and the free domain that was provided by Proboards.
Your privacy -
You can edit your privacy settings such as "Who can see my email? Who can know my gender, who can know my birthday? etc" all in your profile settings. If you are using mobile, you can use the "desktop version" on our mobile browser and zoom in and save. All visitors are required to register in order to even view your posts. All members are vetted by me, dominic, to see if they are a real account or a bot, or from past experiences. Everyone here is validated already. Please have peace of mind a little more.
Your notifications -
You can change this website's notifications for you and also receive email notifications, but you will have to do this manually in your profile's notification section. You can also make custom notification for certain boards.
Your comfort level -
If you feel like you are being harassed, stalked, treated unfairly, please contact the staff. If you think the staff is at fault, contact another member and also you can report abuse at the bottom of this forum. Mods and Admins need to follow all Terms of Service and not misuse your personal information (email, IP address etc).
If you are away for a while and/or delete your account without a "good bye" or "see you later suckers" , please note, this is just to see if everything is OK. This is not harassment and it's perfectly fine to block, ignore, or reply back "stop contacting me or I'm reporting you to the police" or however you get the message across. It's OK to end on bad terms if you feel that is what you want too. I am not going to pursue any friendships and I understand this already from past experience on my past forums, which I deleted. Some people, have ghosted me until today, and I can only pray for them. People are easily suspicious and creeped out by any online and I understand that. Just do you know, I am married, I do have three children, my wifes knows about me and my issues, and there are also other men and women here to keep each other in check and accountable too. Also, most important is that I believe God is going to judge the person (including me) for any evil, or hidden motives and agenda, and if God punished Jesus on the cross, I should be afraid of God if I seek to have some "hidden intent" to take advantage or you or somehow lead you astray. You can disagree with my personal convictions and beliefs but I am only saying this for our community and peace of mind here. What I do here is simply IT work, being a computer guy by trade, and offer any help with addictions and mental health from a Christian perspective and that is all. I consider you dearly loved by God, and bought with a price, that is, the precious blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You are His and I am only one of His servants, his floor sweepers, his guys, that is my capacity in how I operate and how I understand my online relationship to you. If you are my brother or sister in Christ, that I wish you the best in Jesus, no more pain, and no more suffering, no shame, no guilt, no condemnation, but only peace and mercy and grace to you from the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are not yet a believer, I only pray for you to one day find the God of love, who loves you and died for you and rose again, in order to bring you into His eternal kingdom here and now and take you back with Him, after you take your last breath and last heart beat on this plant. That is my prayer for you too. And if you decide to not want Jesus, I also want you to have the best of life that you can have, all goodness and health, as I would for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Why? Because if God loves you, and died for you, who am I to offer you any less, so I must die to my old me, to let Christ reign in me, so you are not seeing a dumb prideful man but a new man in Jesus. That is not my power, but Gods, and uses us broken people and I don't know why except that He loves and He loves unconditionally.
